"Streetcar" - Previews

Sorry it's been a while since I wrote, but we've been doing this thing called tech. And this other thing called previews. Which require long hours and lots of intense work. It was a little overwhelming! But everything came together. Last night was technically our second preview, after Tuesday night's 'pay what you can.' I thought it went really well- much better than Tuesday. We received a standing ovation both nights! Last night's audience made me happy because they laughed at seriously every line that had even the slightest touch of humor in it. Up until the end of act 2, one would have assumed Streetcar was a comedy. It was refreshing to hear spectators enjoying the play in that way, because after living with the play for almost a month, I tend to associate it more with the overall tragedy of the characters' situations at the end.

Tonight is our last preview and tomorrow is the official opening night. Come see the show! :)
