"Streetcar" - Onstage!

Today was our first rehearsal on the actual set, with most of the show furniture pieces and props. It's a big transition moving from the rehearsal hall to the stage. Tech and stage management did lots of prep last night for the move, and there is still more to be done. Watching the actors rehearse the scenes today was interesting because they were either forced to change some things or chose to change some things in their blocking, acting choices, etc due to the new space. For example, some larger furniture pieces in the kitchen had to be rearranged because of sightline issues, so that changed some blocking for a few scenes.

Tomorrow is our first long day of tech, so I am definitely going to bed soon, otherwise I would keep writing about more randomness and how hard working and amazing these people are...
